How to take the glass plate off a Retrotouch Light switch?
The Retro Touch Glass light switch range has a screwless design so the glass plate will need to be removed first to expose the screw points.
Here is a video to explain how the glass can be removed. Simply insert a flat head screwdriver (7mm head) and twist. This process is used across our complete Crystal range. To put the glass back on, the glass needs to be on the hinge on the top face, then angle down until you hear a click.
CAUTION: When removing the glass when installed on the wall, be sure to hold the glass with one hand whilst using the other twisting the screwdriver. Failure to do this may cause damage to the product and cause harm to yourself.
CAUTION: Ensure the power is turned off at the consumer unit before removal of glass
CAUTION: Do not force the glass removal as it can cause damage to the glass and side fascia
